Good Evening, Thank You for your visiting the First Group Careers Page and your question today. You can of course apply for another Train Operating Company whilst going through your GWR process. I did exactly the same when I was applying for my first trainee train drivers role and had two applications at the same time. This ended up giving me the choice of which TOC I wanted to work for. Afternoon, I have looked into this further for you and I have spoken to the OPC who carry out the Train Driver Testing; They have said that should you be successful they would ask you to choose one TOC and pursue that application. For clarification I would ask the same question to the OPC so you have a full understanding.
