Hi again Paul. Just to add: I asked a similar question to Paul S on 23rd October Tand I noticed he replied to me on 26th October saying Avanti West Coast were currently working through the establishment figures. As that was a few weeks ago and I'm now asking about all of the TOCs that use the First Group vacancies portal, I'm just wondering and hoping if you can provide any update? Please note I have registered for job alerts so will continue to monitor emails but any indication on timelines would be great. Thanks, Keith
Hello Keith, I can only answer for Avanti West Coast as I don't have access to information for SWR, GWR, Hull or Lumo.
Also please note that whilst TPE use the First Group Website still, they are no longer part of the FG family.
Avanti West Coast recently advertised for Drivers at Preston, which I believe only went internal.
We have recently undertaken a massive drive in recruitment for both Drivers and Train Managers and there are still Talent Banks of people waiting for courses.
I have asked the question internally, regarding more adverts, I will update if I get a response.
As you've already done, registering for job alerts is the best course as you'll be alerted as soon as a job is advertised.
