    Hi Gary,

Depending on what kind of placement your daughter would be looking for, will determine who best to speak to.

If they are interested in customer facing work experience, such as shadowing our Gatelines (ticket barriers), Dispatchers (staff who safely see trains in and out of platforms) and other customer experience and operational roles, then you should contact your local Station Manager. You can find them by simply speaking to a station staff member and either asking to speak to the Station Manager or requesting their contact details for you to get in touch that way.

If they are interested in other roles such as HR, Head Quarters, Social Media, Training, etc, then you would need to contact the HR team for the relevant operating company. If it's Great Western Railway that you're considering, then please email hr@gwr.com and they will be able to give you more information regarding opportunities, safeguarding and processes.

    I hope that helps.

    Alex
