I have researched GEMS and the 5 pillars, is there anywhere else I can research for company info. What other types of questions do they ask? Do I need to know technical advances, historical business etc? Many thanks for your time in replying. Regards Nicki

That would very much depend on the role you are being interviewed for.
Should it be within Customer Experience (so predominantly working within our stations and on board our trains), then the interview will likely be competency based, and so you will be asked questions based more around your previous experience and how you can reflect on that to achieve goals and meet challenges within GWR. You would therefore be best to research competency based style questions and have a number of examples prepared in your head that you can refer to. It would still help to have some basic knowledge of GWR and FirstGroup, so that you can support your answers with additional insight, but I wouldn't worry too much about researching into great depths.
If your application is for more of a head office type role, only then would I suggest researching into greater detail, as then you would likely need that additional knowledge.
