I've recently relocated back to the UK from Canada, where I moved 12 years ago for university. I've worked A LOT of jobs since then, with some periods of unemployment (especially most recently - since moving). I really want to kick my career up a notch now I'm back! What advice do you have?
You don't need to be anxious at all, but I understand the feeling... there are a number of First Group Rail companies, in different regions of the UK.
One way to stand out, is to decide what role you're interested in, what train operator you prefer and do lots of research into that company, such as history, services, brand values.. showing you've researched roles and companies, shows you're serious and dedicated. It's a good way to stand out.
Paul can you advise me exactly what role is the best for me to take on the role in this project as a beginner if like example rail operator 2 job
