Hello and thank you for your question. The answer is an immediate "yes", depending on the role that you are applying for. You don't have to have any previous experience of the rail or bus industry in order to join. We offer a wide spectrum of roles both customer facing and office based positions. I made the jump from a successful career as a teacher to joining GWR working onboard the trains and I had no prior experience. It was the perfect move and I haven't looked back since. The industry offers wonderful opportunities for progression if, in the future, you feel like you'd like to challenge yourself further to utilise any skills or qualifications that you already have from previous jobs/careers.
