What You’ll Be Doing:
✨ Deliver unforgettable onboard customer experiences
✨ Lead and support On Board Hosts to ensure outstanding service
✨ Use EPOS systems & handle cash confidently 💳
✨ Communicate clearly with customers — especially during disruption 📣
✨ Follow safety & security procedures at all times 🔐
✨ Maintain stock levels and keep product displays looking great 🛒
✨ Be a positive and professional ambassador for GWR 💼💚

🕒 Working Pattern
You’ll need to be flexible to work:
🌅 Early mornings
🌙 Evenings
📆 Weekends
🏖️ Bank holidays

Travel between locations may sometimes be required.

📍 You must live within 45–60 minutes of the station for this role.

🎯 What We’re Looking For (Minimum Criteria)
✔ Front-line customer service experience
✔ Teamwork skills and a collaborative mindset 🤝
✔ Experience working with guidelines or in a regulated industry
✔ Strong numeracy & literacy
✔ Excellent communication and people skills 🗣️
✔ Ability to deliver a truly world-class customer experience 🌍
✔ Understanding of customer needs and expectations
✔ Confident decision-making within set authority
✔ Knowledge of GWR products/timetables or willingness to learn 🚆📚

🎓 No formal qualifications required, full training provided!

📌 What to Expect After Applying
📍 You may be invited to complete an online assessment
📍 Shortlisted candidates will attend an assessment centre, including group activities
📍 Successful candidates will then have a 1:1 interview (same day or scheduled later)
📍 Final checks include a medical assessment, drugs & alcohol screening, and a basic DBS check
