Using a broad range of technology and transformation activities we are introducing new platforms and services. This role is supporting the vision to be become a truly digital workplace by leveraging services we support in ways which meet colleagues needs.

 About the job

You will be managing our Microsoft 365 ecosystem, ensuring a secure, collaborative, and highly productive environment. Responsibilities span across identity and access management in Microsoft Entra ID, robust security and compliance configuration across the environment, managing Evergreen continuous updates, and device management (Windows and Microsoft Meeting Room Devices) via Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Microsoft Application Manager.

Leverage PowerShell automation to streamline operations, continuously monitor service health, and stay ahead of evolving M365 capabilities. In addition, driving key IT projects, ranging from mobile device management and deployments to delivering Intune capabilities. Ensuring recovery of configuration and data via appropriate and Azure IaaS immutable backup solutions.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage and maintain M365 services including Teams, OneDrive, Intune, & Entra ID.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for M365-related incidents and service requests.
  • Monitor system health, usage, and security compliance.
  • Drive adoption of M365 tools and features to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • License management of the Microsoft platform and services
  • Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security and data governance standards.
  • Manage identity and access controls, MFA, and device compliance.
  • Contribute to infrastructure projects focused on workplace modernisation and security
  • Leverage PowerShell and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to automate workflows and administrative tasks.
  • Other tasks as directed by line management.

Experience & Skills

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • A results-driven self-starter with high levels of self-motivation, mobility, energy and initiative
  • Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EntraID, Azure, Teams, and Intune.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and M365 security/compliance tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Broad expertise in on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure and security technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud governance frameworks, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
  • Broad expertise and knowledge in infrastructure and security technologies
  • Excellent people and customer focused management skills
  • Supplier relationship management experience
  • Knowledge of working in a multi-site environment
  • Experience working in ITIL environments (esp Change, Incident, and Problem Management)
