About the role
You will be part of an exciting programme that will help us transform how we move customers. You will be supporting projects and workstreams within the overall programme, ensuring the required governance artefacts and controls are in place.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Project Support Analysing project performance, managing data, and generating reports to track progress against key metrics.
Process Improvement Identifying opportunities to streamline project processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices.
Documentation Creating, maintaining, and updating project documentation, including plans, reports, and other PMO artifacts.
Tool Utilisation Utilising project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Power BI) to manage data, track progress, and generate reports.
Stakeholder Communication Interacting with project managers, team members and other stakeholders to gather information, provide updates and facilitate communication.
Governance & Control Supporting the implementation of governance standards, tracking deliverables and managing risks and issues.
Financial Management Assisting with budget tracking, purchase order processing and invoice management.
Resource Management Contributing to resource planning, identifying resource constraints and facilitating resource allocation.

This role is based at Milford House, Swindon, with occasional travel required across the network. The team also works in a hybrid capacity to meet business needs.
Working pattern
This role is full time, 37 hours a week.
