About The Role: PSV/HGV Engineer

Do you want to be part of our dedicated team of mechanical engineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of buses? We’re looking for skilled and forward-thinking people to join our busy Engineering team in Bath.

We are looking for NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Engineers – preferably in heavy vehicle or PSV mechanical maintenance, however we also welcome applications from ex-Forces personnel with an engineering apprenticeship qualification, and experienced engineers from other sectors looking for a change.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults, servicing, and replacing parts as needed
Identifying issues accurately and recommending the correct method of repair and parts required
Performing routine inspections and servicing using handheld data capture devices (where applicable)
Attending roadside breakdowns and supporting vehicle recoveries
Road-testing vehicles to confirm issues or check work after repairs

Location: Weston Island, Lower Bristol Road, BA2 9ES
Working Hours: 39 hours per week, 5 days over 7 - including weekends
Shifts: Varying shifts available - nightshift, early/late shift rotation - happy to discuss at interview what works for you
Pay Rate: Between £19.70-£23.36 per hour, depending on shift (can be discussed at interview) + £3000 NEW RECRUIT JOINING BONUS!!!*
*Joining Bonus - terms apply Available to new team members joining us for the first time or returning to us after more than 12 months
About You:
Do you have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification in vehicle mechanics?
Do you have a valid UK driver's licence?
A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this)
