Your main responsibilities will be:

  • The Route Frame Operator/Team Leader must be prepared to work to tight targets and deadlines to provide a full service to our customers. The position is night and weekend work which is rostered.
  • Instruct, Supervise and give information to the team
  • The workload will be on a variety of Railway Traction

You'll need to be: 

  • The successful candidate MUST be flexible, committed and Enthusiastic
  • Proven ability to remain calm under pressure is also essential while at all times maintaining high safety standards
  • Ability to lead the team to meet the tight targets

As a minimum, you will need to have:   

  • Must be qualified to operate the Route Frame panel on depot
  • Experience of Leadership
  • Minimum experience as a shunter – 2 years.

Additional Information:

  • The successful candidate must be based within a 60-minute commute of the depot.
  • If there is more than one successful applicant a reserve list will be created to fill roles which may arise within the next 6 months which may be of an alternative shift type.
  • which may be on a different shift type.
