We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Station Supervisor to lead our teams in delivering a world-class experience for our customers at Cheltenham Spa Station.

    What You'll Do?

    As a Station Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our station operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Leading and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensuring the safety of all passengers and staff.
    • Proactively assisting customers, providing real-time information, and ensuring their journey is smooth and enjoyable.
    • Overseeing the safe and on-time departure of trains, ensuring all dispatch procedures are followed precisely.
    • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the station.
    • Providing strong visibility and support, ensuring customer security and resolving any issues swiftly.

    Skills & Experience Required?

    • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
    • Experience working as part of a high-performing team.
    • Basic computer literacy to manage station operations and customer information.
    • A solid understanding of numerical tasks to support station administration.

    Additional Information?

    This role involves shift work, including weekends and bank holidays, with shifts ranging between 07:30hrs to 01:00hrs, with expectation to support the wider team outside of those hours on an ad-hoc basis. You must be able to travel to and from the station outside of public transport hours.

    What to Expect?

    • After submitting your application you'll complete an online assessment (recommended on a laptop/computer).
    • Should you be shortlisted you will be invited for a Train Dispatch Multi-Tasking Test and if successful for a competency-based interview scheduled week commencing 26th January 2026.
    • Successful applicants will need to pass a medical assessment, including a colour vision test and drug and alcohol screening, as well as a Basic DBS check.
    • Full training will be provided, including a 3-week training programme in Swindon.
