Trainee Bus Driver – Paid Training 

Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
£13.89 per hour (£26,724 per annum)  
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shifts: 5 days over 7 (rota issued in advance)

The Role
We're recruiting Trainee Bus Drivers in Huddersfield. If you've held a full UK driving licence for at least 6 months, we'll pay you to train for your PCV and CPC qualifications. Once qualified, you'll be safely transporting customers across your local community.

Our New Driver Training Programme
Our new driver training programme takes places across 13 months, supporting you during the first year in your new role. Training is delivered by industry experts and our specialist training partners in a variety of interactive sessions. Including customer service skills, incident management, safeguarding and much more!
In addition to gaining a First Bus – level 2 bus driving apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in Maths & English (if required).

What you'll need

  • A valid PCV Licence
  • Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude
  • Reliability and the ability to work independently
  • Right to work in the UK
