About the team
London & Thames Valley (LTV) Engineering is a team with diverse skills where we are all required to work together to deliver the business objectives, the team are responsible for the delivery of safe, reliable and well-presented trains to the right quality, cost and on time. Performance is a key priority for our customers and our team play a vital role in achieving this.
About the job
To provide advanced technical support and fault finding for rolling stock and train software. Support the development of fleet modifications to improve performance, planned and ad-hoc mentoring and development of colleagues, enhanced incident response coverage attending incidents, collection & review of incident data such as OTMR, CCTV and remote monitoring systems and enhanced investigation of repeat defects, technical delays, and fleet performance.
Support the wider LTV team, by implementing changes as required by GWR, assist in improving business performance of the areas under the responsibility of the LTV Fleet Manager.

The salary for the role is £57,749
About the location:
Your main place of work is at Reading Train Care depot however you maybe required to attend LTV outstations along with in service support
Working Pattern:
The roster is a rotating shift pattern that includes weekends and night working
