About the job
First Rail London is on the hunt for a new Route Performance Manager. In this key role, you will work with stakeholders to deliver the reliability and punctuality strategy across the London Overground Windrush Route, supporting the delivery of a consistently high-performing railway for our customers.
A key aspect of the role will be navigating the challenges associated with the increase from 16 to 18 trains per hour on the ‘Windrush' line in December 2026, ensuring performance risks are identified early and mitigated effectively to maintain service performance. You will also lead investigations into sub-threshold delays across the London Overground network, identifying underlying causes and implementing targeted interventions to prevent recurrence.
You will play a key role in shaping the performance of one of London's most important rail networks and be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, with the chance to make a tangible impact on customer experience every day. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced performance improvement professional who thrives in a multi-stakeholder environment and is looking for their next challenge. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and help drive London Overground's performance to the next level, we'd love to hear from you.
