Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting the formulation and dissemination of the mobilisation plans for the introduction of the new Arterio fleet:
    • Work closely with the Arterio Programme Director and other members of the mobilisation team, provide guidance to the Arterio Programme Manager and workstream leads to maintain a comprehensive mobilisation plan for the Arterio fleet.
    • Ensure that the plan is communicated effectively through the Programme Manager to all relevant parties, including workstream leads, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Ensuring governance structure required to deliver mobilisation activities is robust, reviewed regularly and meets the needs of internal and external stakeholders:
    • Develop and implement a governance structure that ensures effective oversight and management of the mobilisation programme, relevant to each stage of the programme and specific to workstream needs.
    • Review the governance structure regularly and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of a communication and engagement plan that delivers appropriate communication at all levels:
    • Work with the relevant senior colleagues to ensure the development of a communication and engagement plan that generates interest at all levels of SWR
    • Ensure that the plan is effectively implemented and that stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the mobilisation process.
  • Ensuring that conflict is sensitively managed between the identified workstream leads through intervention and facilitated conversations:
    • Develop a conflict management plan that ensures that any conflicts between workstream leads are resolved quickly and sensitively, unlocking the appropriate support for colleagues involved in delivery of the programme.
    • Facilitate conversations between workstream leads when necessary to ensure that conflicts are resolved in a timely and effective manner, escalating where appropriate to the Head of Arterio Mobilisation to liaise with the executive.
  • Contributing to trade union negotiations (in relation to Arterio Mobilisation activity) and when required to support the facilitation of change that is not part of current agreements:
    • Support the senior team in planning and facilitating trade union consultation and negotiation in relation to the Arterio mobilisation programme to enable the subject matter experts to lead the conversations.
    • Provide support to facilitate change when necessary and ensure that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the process including ensuring that the subject matter experts who lead the conversations are aware of the potential impact of decisions made.
  • Ensuring stakeholders are kept appropriately informed and engaged in key decisions:
    • Maintain a stakeholder engagement plan that ensures that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in key decisions related to the mobilisation programme through a well-rounded governance structure.
    • Identifying the key decision makers and ensuring that they are engaged to enable the appropriate business options to deliver programme progress, and escalation.
  • Influencing (through the Arterio Programme Director) the business to ensure blockers to the mobilisation programme are resolved including executive and senior leadership level:
    • Work closely with the Arterio Programme Director and and other members of the mobilisation team to identify and resolve any blockers to the mobilisation programme and when appropriate facilitate solutions for the workstream leads.
    • Use your influence and expertise to ensure that senior leadership and executive teams are aligned with the mobilisation programme and that any issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Ensuring that the financial implications of decisions made to mobilise the Arterio programme are well managed:
    • Ensure the finance workstream lead has a developed and implement a financial management plan that ensures that the mobilisation programme is delivered within appropriate arterio related budget.
    • Ensure that all financial decisions are well-informed and based on accurate information through the weekly governance structure of the programme.
  • Leading a robust risk management programme that facilitates appropriate treatment plans that are well communicated, managed and prioritised:
    • Develop and implement a risk management plan that identifies and manages risks associated with the mobilisation programme.
    • Ensure that appropriate treatment plans are developed and communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders utilising the existing governance structures.
  • Ensuring that complex issues on behalf of the Arterio Programme are communicated in a credible and influential manner:
    • Utilising the Arterio programme manager ensure that complex issues related to the mobilisation programme are communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Use your expertise and credibility to ensure that stakeholders understand and appreciate the implications of any complex issues.
  • Contributing to the mobilisation team activity to facilitate and enable the eleven identified workstreams that form the mobilisation programme:
    • Work closely with the Arterio Programme Director and other members of the mobilisation team to facilitate and enable the identified workstreams.

About the location

You will be required to work across our network, predominantly based at our Head Office in London.

Working pattern

On average you will be working 37 hours per week across 5 days per week.
