Hello I'm 26 I've applied for a role based as a out of hours cleaning agent on trains but always have been intrigued by the guards.

The role of Conductor is a position that is varied and very important. Our team of Guards have differing levels of length of service in the role too. There are development opportunities open to all employees in GWR and this can provide any colleague with the chance to change their role. If you are ever on board one of our trains, please do approach a Conductor and ask them for any insight into their role and I'm sure they'd be happy to oblige.
