Good Evening Danielle. Thank you for your message and for visiting the First Group Careers Page. This is the best job in my opinion; I still get a buzz from driving trains. At 125mph with a coffee watching the sunrise...Best office view ever!! What do you currently do workwise currently? When I joined the railway I was blown away by the family feel and the way all departments work together to get the wheels on a train moving. You will be responsible for leisure and commuter customers safety as you move them from point A - B for holidays, work and to see loved ones. I would say if this is something you're considering; apply!! You will not regret it. I'm driving for the next 2 days and I will still get that thrill travelling on the West Coast Mainline knowing I'm playing my part in moving customers around safely.
