When any Train Driver role is advertised, you will find it here.

You can also register for job alerts on our careers site so if you haven't already done that, I would suggest doing so, to ensure you receive an email notification whenever a role is advertised matching your set criteria.

Hey Tom,

Apologies for the delayed response, I've been having an issue with my emails which was preventing me from receiving certain notifications, this being one of them!

I've spoken with GWR and unfortunately they're not able to give anything definitive at this moment in time. However, as soon as a role is advertised in the south west, you will definitely be notified - I've double checked your job alert and the criteria set is exactly as it needs to be.

What I will advise is as soon as you do receive a notification for a trainee role, you get your application in straight away, as the advert can often close early due to the sheer volume of applications these roles attract.

Until then though, it's just a bit of a waiting game I'm afraid.
