GWR recruit 4 times a year (May, August, Nov & March) for our entry level customer service programme. The programme is 18 months and is open to 16 years and above. This apprenticeship covers stations, revenue and on board rotations.

We recruit yearly in late August for our Engineering programme. This is a 4 year programme in mechanical and electrical engineering and covers time on depot as well as academic studies. This is also open to 16 years and above.

Anyone wishing to apply for the schemes should in the first instance complete an expression of interest form which is on our recruitment website. Our recruitment team will then contact the candidate if a vacancy arises in their area.
