The Drivers team in the East Region is an exciting place to be, with our new fleet of trains now in service it's a time of transition and optimism for the future. Reading Depot is the largest on the GWR Network and makes for a challenging and rewarding work environment. Reading Drivers work on multiple tractions over a wide variety of routes. As a Driver Standards Manager you will find that no two days are the same in this dynamic location. Working in a large team and together with the wider East Region, we will achieve our goals and deliver a fantastic service.
About the job:
Driver Standards Manager is a key operational role at the forefront of our business. You will ensure our Drivers are equipped with all the tools and knowledge to allow them to deliver a first-class service. Managing your own team, as part of the wider Depot you will deal with both competence and people management to offer the best possible support for your Drivers.
