I began my career in recruiting after completing my Masters in Developmental Psychology and at a crossroads of where to begin my career journey. From a Graduate to a trainee recruitment consultant, progressing within the same company I remained in Agency recruitment for 8 years. I recruit internally for First Customer Contact and the extended group

I am currently within the Talent Acquisition Team for First Customer Contact. Within that role I recruit for our thriving contact centre in Sheffield. I also support First Rail, First Rail Consultancy, Hull Trains, Croydon Trams, Lumo and Mistral data with their recruitment coordination

One of my favourite parts about my role is matching candidates with the best roles for them. I thoroughly enjoy recruiting top talent and seeing them thrive within the business

Ask questions and take notes - always push yourself further

The only way to learn how to do a job is to ask questions from those around you. No question is a silly question. Also putting yourself out there asking questions, getting your voice heard helps establish your presence within an organisation and can help you progress your career further

I have succesfully placed over 150 candidates within my career as a recruiter. I personally see this as having a significant impact on over 150 people's lives in helping them reach their career goals and ambitions

Hello Alice

Hi Alice, I am on secondment for almost 6 years and I have been trying to apply for numerous possition within SWR, but so far I have been unsuccessful. I have completed an Apprenticeship on Team Leader and Supervisor and still no luck. Please advice
